What is GRUNT?

GRUNT is an on-demand material pickup and delivery service for contractors and trades in the Florida Panhandle. You order supplies from your supplier, and GRUNT picks them up and delivers them directly to your jobsite — typically within a few hours.

How fast will my order be delivered?

Deliveries are typically completed within two hours of when the order is ready for pickup. You can also choose 4-hour delivery or schedule a pickup and delivery for a future date and time in the GRUNT app.

How much does a GRUNT delivery cost?

Use the estimator at trygrunt.com/estimate — enter the distance and vehicle type to see an approximate cost. Exact pricing is calculated in the GRUNT app and shown at checkout before payment is processed. New contractors get their first delivery for $1.

Can GRUNT pick up from any store or supplier?

Yes. GRUNT can pick up from any local store, supplier, or warehouse as long as the order is paid for and ready for pickup. Regular pickups include Builders FirstSource, Ferguson, SRS Building Products, Sherwin-Williams, White Cap, Johnstone Supply, Mingledorff’s, Ace Hardware, Lowe’s, The Home Depot, City Electric Supply, and 84 Lumber.

What vehicles does GRUNT use, and is there a weight limit?

GRUNT offers sedans for small items and mid-size to full-size pickup trucks for larger loads. Deliveries are limited by vehicle size, so select the correct vehicle type when placing your order. Single items must not exceed 50 pounds; larger or heavier loads require customer assistance for unloading.

Can I use GRUNT to move materials between job sites?

Yes. GRUNT can handle pickup and delivery between job sites, not just from suppliers.

How do I place an order?

Download the GRUNT app, create an account, upload your order confirmation or receipt from the supplier, select pickup and drop-off locations, choose a vehicle type, and confirm your order.

Can I track my delivery and contact my driver?

Yes. GRUNT provides real-time notifications and in-app messaging with your driver. Your phone number stays private — all communication happens inside the app.

How do I pay, and do I have to tip?

GRUNT accepts credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, processed securely via Stripe. Tipping is recommended but not required.

Can the driver pay for my items and get reimbursed?

No. You must pay the store directly before the driver picks up your order.

Can I modify or cancel an order?

Orders cannot be modified — cancel and create a new one instead. Cancellations are free within five minutes of placing the order. After five minutes, 20% of the driver’s payout goes to the driver and you cover the payment processing fee; the remaining balance is credited back to your card.

Can I trust my GRUNT driver?

Yes. GRUNT drivers are vetted, interviewed, and must meet strict criteria before being approved. Drivers and the platform are insured.

What if my supplies are damaged or not delivered?

Contact GRUNT support immediately at 850-749-5310 or through the Contact section of the website. GRUNT drivers and the platform are insured, and depending on the situation GRUNT may issue a refund or arrange re-delivery.

Is GRUNT available on iOS and Android?

Yes. The GRUNT app is available for download on both iOS and Android.
